Far from the party scene of the south, this region offers sacred and natural places designed for healing and relaxation.
This is Bali’s version of a natural spa. Soak in one of the three public pools fed by sulfuric hot water from a volcanic source. The water, believed to have healing properties, will relax every stiff muscle. The dragon-shaped spouts add a mystical touch to the experience.
Located in the cool highlands, these two lakes offer an incredibly peaceful view. Far from the noise, you can rent a traditional canoe to paddle slowly on the calm water, or simply sit at one of the roadside cafes and enjoy the panorama.
The largest Buddhist monastery in Bali is an oasis of peace. With its beautifully manicured gardens, magnificent Buddha statues, and a replica of the Borobudur Temple, this place is ideal for meditation or simply walking in silence. Its view overlooking the sea adds to the tranquility.
Although famous for its morning dolphins, the evenings at Lovina Beach offer a different charm. Sit at a cafe on its distinctive black sand beach, enjoy a cold drink, and watch the sun set over the calm sea. This is relaxation in its simplest and most perfect form.
North Bali invites you to slow down, breathe deeply, and find your balance once again.
